Our Mission
Our mission is to help children born in poverty to gain access to basic amenities and education so that they can regain their childhood and grow up to be responsible citizens. We would empower them to break the cycle of poverty. We hope that many will bear the torch to lead future generations out of the slums and into the mainstream of life.

Our Beliefs
Our focus is primarily on girls and younger women in third-world countries because they are subjected to horrific neglect. Women in the areas we work in are considered beneath the ‘untouchable’ class and are therefore denied almost every form of humane living conditions. Girls as young as twelve, are forced to a life of prostitution. Women, mothers who stand up to it are routinely tortured and even killed. Basic forms of health care are denied to women, and they continue to live subjected to a life of despair and destitution.
We believe that healthy societies are based on women and children who are literate, independent and well informed of the choices available to them. Our focus is on
- Prevention of verbal, physical and mental abuse to women
- Improvement of their future socio-economic conditions
- Raising children who are educated and respect others
- Ensure that girls grow up to command respect in their communities as women

Why Girls?
Through Promise World Wide, girls receive positive role models, academic tutoring, nutritional food, decent clothing, regular medical check-ups and training in personal hygiene. By helping them become educated and self-reliant and providing hope for the future, we will advance the causes of the whole of society. We believe

- Educated girls are less likely to be physically and mentally abused
