In this area, the majority of students live below the poverty line. Though there is a government-run school in the area, most students cannot afford the books or the supplies they need. Most of the community is comprised of sustenance farmers who must devote all their time simply to feed themselves.

To help break this cycle of poverty, Promise rented a space where teachers can help guide the students through their education and ultimately give them the tools to achieve better lives. There are about 60 students who regularly attend, and all are given books and supplies for free. Many of the students also lack proper nutrition, so Promise plans to provide balanced meals to its students at no cost.
