The right to education is recognised as a basic fundamental right, and thus, is something that should be available to one and all. But, certain socio-economic circumstances refrain many from receiving an education. Thus, we, the members of Promise Worldwide, aim to provide educational accessibility to one and all. We focus on digital mediums to provide education to the ones distanced from basic sources of education, so as to bridge the digital divide and solve the problem of accessibility, even in remote areas. Our team focuses on installing internet connectivity and providing computers and webcams in remote and socio-economically backward regions so that our members and volunteers can connect with students from anywhere in the world. In this way, the students not only receive education but also learn the basic nuances of operating digital devices, which shall help them to stay on par with evolving times. We also provide training to the teachers in these regions so that they can educate better, and help in creating a difference in the long run. We believe that education is a means for economic stability, as well as social progress, and thus, work towards making tomorrow a better day. At Promise Worldwide, we believe that education should be prioritized in every nook of the country.

We have attempted to build a systematic cyber-based education system for the students living in our target regions. Currently, we have children studying in classes 1 through 8. We teach them a number of subjects, emphasizing particularly Computer Studies, Mathematics, and English. In addition, we provide vocational training and computer classes to help bridge the digital divide. We have educators teaching these students in person, as well as via online mode, for optimum results. We have tried to curate the system of online models through which we aim to provide mainstream education to these students. We have also implemented strategies to keep a check on any illegal activities like the trafficking of women and children, given that the areas of Sundarbans are prone to exploitation, especially when the young men leave their homes in search of work. We have appointed people to keep guard and ensure safety.
